Ok, so basically this game is a browser-based MMOG. I'll be basically covering my first trip into the game.

Alright, so if your a fan of the show or you just happen to hear a lot of noise about the show you already know theres basically two factions to choose from Cylons and Humans. From the start for me it was slightly sluggish getting everything setup but its definitly worth the wait. Once your in, you get "thrown" into the game and basically you get a feel for the controls and weapons. The interface is pretty sick for a browser based game, and I highly suggest hitting the f11 to get the most out of your screen.

First things first, I had a bit of issue figuring out just which side would I go with? Being as I am vaguely familiar with the franchise and the factions basically to me the website was pretty good at giving me ideas for which side I should go with.......*drum roll* CYLON!!!!!! Really there didn't seem like any kind of major difference between probably a case by case deal for which side your into. Server sizes seem to be based mostly on geographical location. For what its worth and what most mmo fanboys like to really wonder about character creation was pretty simple and straight-forward.

I won't really cover too much in the way of gameplay seeing as really all I did was get through the introduction and get into some starting quests but never really got a whole lot of play time on it. More to come with more play time.

In the Beginning...

So, I suppose an introduction for this blog (cause you totally are clueless about this thing right?) is in order. Basically I've been toiling around with the idea that I could actually get myself a foot in the door with gaming community least from the perspective as a beta tester. So far I've been lucky enough to participate in three beta events. Of those the games I've gotten to enjoy/figure out are:

• World of Warcraft: Cataclysm - a game I've more or less dedicated a lot of time too, and my first beta open, but still a beta invite is a beta invite.
• Rift - still in the early phases so this will probably be where the majority of the blog will end up coming from.
• Battlestar Galactica Online - Just went open beta and finally got all my information setup with this one, it's pretty good for what it is and well that'll be something to be explained later.
